Jenn Simmons

Rev. Jenn Simmons serves as Co-Pastor at National Avenue Christian Church (NACC) in Springfield, Missouri. Growing up in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), she was encouraged to ‘try new things’ in worship. From an early age, she and her peers were invited to try to worship with creativity–with everything from Oreos, to colored pencils, to poetry- and she pursued worship for all different types of learners and ages alike. In her work at NACC, she helps to craft worship experiences. The worship there is progressive in atraditional liturgical framework, but the congregation enjoys gathering in non-traditional ways as well. Dinner Church has recently become a regular occurrence for the church community to gather, and they often seek out new ways to encounter the sacred together. Rev. Simmons is a proud alumna of Eden Theological Seminary and Texas Christian University.
